Bkeeper is designed to handle every financial aspect of your business except credit card processing. This includes records, receipts, inventory, managing and planning.
Credit card payments must be processed by a third party since Bkeeper5000 is fully offline.
Ctrl +/- (command +/- on Mac) adjusts the size of elements on all pages.
The general password for all red buttons on the home page is a lowercase g.
The admin password for everything else in the app is a lowercase a.
Both passwords can/should be changed on the Home screen.
The Order Entry page is the main page for managers or employees to input final orders and manage inventory and records.
The Tables page is the main page for servers and table management. It does not have access to any data.
The item field on the order entry page can handle multiple entries separated by commas for extra inventory tags.
Saved menus in the order entry page can be loaded into Tables using the Save for Tables button.
Costs, profits, and margins can be hidden in both the Order Entry page and the Daily Book with the Hide Costs/Admin button. This way employees can move through the app with the general password without seeing or changing sensitive data.
On the Order Entry page, the Copy Order button generates data to be pasted in the Daily Book. The Inventory Data button generates data to be pasted on the Inventory page.
Receipts and kitchen orders can both be printed from the Order Entry page, but ongoing orders and kitchen communications for servers are meant to be handled through the Tables page. The Order Entry page is meant for final data input for records and analysis.
The Tables page has no password because it has no access to data.
Separate machines running Bkeeper5000 or BkeeperLite will not communicate, they are fully offline
